As promised, there’s more, of course, to the art show than just an art show.  I thought I might draw your attention to a few points about it:

  • American himself will be there on the evening of June 8th as a kind of honorary host.
  • Ken Wong, our illustrious art director, will also be there – as will his artwork.
  • I myself will also be there, with bells on.
  • It will be covered video-wise by Levi Maestro.
  • There will, of course, be an enormous amount of mind-blowing art inspired by (and that inspired) Alice: Madness Returns.
  • And a few of you can totally be there with us.

You see, the folks at Treehouse know exactly how awesome our fans are, and they want to make sure that you don’t miss a single beat as we go through this last big stretch to the actual Day Of Launch.  They’ve set it up so that if you’re in the Los Angeles area and don’t happen to be doing anything on the evening of June 8th, we could probably see clear to make sure that your name got on the guest list.

How, you ask?

I’ve struggled with this question a great deal since I learned of this event, and I think what it will come down to is this:  You’re going to email me with three key bits of information.  You’re going to tell me:

  1. How you were impacted by playing American McGee’s Alice
  2. What you’re most looking forward to in Alice: Madness Returns, and
  3. What it would mean to you to meet the creative minds and driving forces behind these games.

Yeah, I know, I’m such a meanie.  But remember these very important points before polishing off your finest persuasive writing and sending it to me:

  • You have to provide your own travel and lodging.
  • You don’t have to be local to Los Angeles, but did I mention that you have to take care of your own travel and lodging?
  • No, I probably can’t pick you up from the airport.

So, that’s the long and short of it.  I’d love to see you there.  Attire is cocktail casual, and bring tissues.  ;-)

If you missed the post a couple of days ago with the official flyer, take a gander at it again:
