game, search it if you can on the net,
but I’ll know you’d be interested it’s along the same lines as Alice story wise.
I hope you consider adapting a script once you like what you see.

Nah.. it’s not American English (that’s an interesting pun in this case ). It’s the whole figure of speech that is the issue, not pronunciation like with cantonese (apperently).
Because of this I hate localization. Humor can not be translated. Even in the same language it doesn’t work (e.g. British vs American). A nice example of this would be the movie “The hitchhikers guide to the galaxy”. The American script writer destroyed a lot of great jokes in the original text, mostlikely because he didn’t understand it.

American: “Member” can refer to the male sexual anatomy – “Touch my member!” or “My what a large member you have!” – “Member” can also mean a part of a group, or in this instance, a gang. Anthony is mixing the two meanings of the word in order to make a joke.”

I guess it was not with the french translators, because we have also the same two meaning, except that the word is membre instead of member …..
