(No, not the demos - not yet. Those come later.)
Check back here frequently for updates on what contests we’re running. Prizes include things like mugs, shirts, and juggling pigs. Yes, that’s right - juggling pigs. We’ll post pictures when they’re ready.

CONTEST 1: GRIMM WALLPAPER 1
Overview: Make a set of Wallpapers for computer desktops that feature imagery, logos, and phrases from American McGee’s Grimm.
Deadline: Last day to submit is May 31st, 2008.
The details as posted in the American McGee forum:
1. The winner(s) will have their wallpapers available on the main Spicy Horse website as well as the Grimm-specific Spicy Horse site (not ready for prime-time yet).
2. There are four sizes: 1280×800, 1280×768, 1024×768, and 800×600. Needs to be 72 dpi resolution, just to make things easy. Also, needs to be .jpg format only, but your original work can be done in any format you so desire. I recommend anything with layers so that you can move your elements around as you down-size the work for the smaller images. (1024×768 and 800×600 are to the same scale, so that transition is the easy part.)
#. Get your image fodder from American’s Flickr account. Backgrounds are your choice, but please don’t use other copyrighted images.
4. This is not for Alice. This is for Grimm. It’s in the same vein, but a lot more cynical and sarcastic.

~. You have a few weeks or so, until May 31st, 2008. Depending on how many people respond, I may extend it. Selection will be juried, so be aware that Mr. McGee will probably be looking at them, too.
. Depending also on the turn-out for this one, I may be enticed to throw in an actual non-forum prize besides a forum award and feature in the download section. I was thinking… maybe a t-shirt… it might be one of the prototype Grimm shirts… or a coffee mug… or maybe a classic t-shirt… maybe… depending on the turn-out…
