The Wonderland good guy, with the haughty air of career subaltern. A messenger, Even his pals think he’s a bit “fussy” and a bit “limited” in the IQ department. But everybody respects his demeanor.
Like Cat and the Caterpillar, he knows what’s going on and how much is at stake in Wonderland. His lifelong relationship with Alice gives his presence credibility and urgency.
