Shadow Alice stands before young Alice who is being corrupted by the ruin which was the cause of Alice forgetting her childhood self. Two options are presented to the player

Throw the Vorpal knife to kill the ruin and young Alice resulting in older Alice forgetting her childhood so she can move on with life.
Stabbing older Alice would cause the ruin to jump from younger Alice into the Vorpal knife that older Alice carries shattering it and older Alice's mind along with it leaving her nothing except the memories of her younger self.
